all that talk about shutter life and actuations is totally averrated, especially on 1d cams. in cas it actually fails, it really is a minor thing to get the shutter replaced by canon. 300,-- max. that's peanuts compare to what kind of camera you get. chances are that canon even replaces the shutter for free if that shutter fails somwhere
